Nineteenth- and twentieth-century German philosophy, especially Friedrich Nietzsche, as well as in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy (Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung), its history and influence on literature, and in contemporary Austrian literature (Robert Musil, Ingeborg Bachmann)
