Summary of research interests and expertise:

My PhD research considered the relationship between agencies of the US government and the Nicaraguan Contras during Nicaragua's Contra War (1981-1990), and I am currently preparing a manuscript based on that research. During my time at ILAS I will also be working on a new postdoctoral project which looks at the role of Cuban teachers in Nicaragua during the years of the Sandinista revolution (1979-1990).
